These terms apply to removals, man & van, packing and storage services provided by RM Removals. By booking with us you agree to them.
Quotes
Quotes are free and based on the information you provide. A quote may be adjusted if the actual job differs materially from what was described (for example significantly more items, restricted access or extra distance). We'll always tell you before any change.
Bookings & payment
Your booking is confirmed once we've agreed a date and any deposit is paid. [Confirm your deposit amount, accepted payment methods and when the balance is due.] We pride ourselves on no hidden costs — the price we agree is the price you pay for the job described.
Cancellations & changes
If you need to change or cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as possible. [Confirm your notice period and any cancellation/deposit terms.]
Care of your belongings & insurance
We handle your items with care and carry insurance covering goods in transit and our work. [Confirm cover levels and any limits/exclusions.] Please tell us in advance about anything especially fragile, valuable or awkward to move.
Your responsibilities
- Make sure items are ready and accessible on the day (unless you've booked our packing service).
- Arrange any necessary parking or access permits at both addresses where possible.
- Tell us about access issues such as stairs, lifts, narrow doorways or long carries.
Items we can't move
For safety and legal reasons we can't transport hazardous, illegal or perishable goods (such as flammable liquids, gas bottles or similar). If you're unsure about an item, just ask.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the cover provided by our insurance and to the value of the services provided. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
